Can you be more specific? I am build and SDK for testing next week (indeed you can download a sample of the 1.2.1 SDK on the website now). Unless I know what "features" are missing I won't be able to fix anything.
As for running the tutorials; they are more workbooks which you follow along with?

They solved the problem by getting those missing features from the SVN.
Can anyone create a SVN credential for me so that I can pull those files to my machine?
