Thanks, that works. I installed seamonkey-1.0.8 from Slackware 11
patches, set MOZILLA_HOME to /usr/lib/seamonkey, logged off and back
on again, and uDig now uses seamonkey to show its help. Whew!
I'm still mystified by the missing information view--what I want to
do is click on a polygon and have some display of that polygon's
attributes. I can select the 'i' from the toolbar and choose "Info"
from its drop-down menu, the cursor changes to a small arrow with
the letter 'i' below it, but when I click something, there is no
response, no activity at all. I make sure that the layer I'm interested
in (a poly layer) is active in the Layer view. And I get no error
messages in the .log file. Am I thinking of this incorrectly?
