[udig-devel] [jira] Created: (UDIG-728) Deleting Catalog Entry does not delete entry or Layers
|
Deleting Catalog Entry does not delete entry or Layers
------------------------------------------------------
Key: UDIG-728
URL: http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/UDIG-728
Project: uDIG
Type: Bug
Components: API catalog
Versions: UDIG 1.1.M7
Environment: gnu/linux
Reporter: Adrian Custer
When a catalog entry is deleted (right click -> remove) the entry disappears from the view. However, an open map with layers from that catalog entry does not lose those layers. Furthermore, on exit and restart, the catalog entry is restored. i would expect a warning dialog on delete:
Data from this geospatial data
source is being used in a/several
map(s). Deleting will cause the/those
maps to loose displayed layers and any
custom styling of those layers will be lost.
[Cancel] [Delete data source and layers]
or equivalent. I would then expect all the layers to disappear from a map.
