We are also thinking of making a user friendly web version for viewing
at-least (Thanks Paul S). The next step would be to create a module for
confluence or drupal to edit the svn content using Wiki formats ... (I
realize this has probably been done in one of the open-source Wikis, so
someone (volunteers?) would have to grab this and work with it).
That is a good suggestion David, I am concerned about the
documentation hiding away in version control
and not being accessable for coorection/collaboration.
Just to be clear suggestions like this will *help* prevent the
documentation from hiding away. I just wanted
to share some links to get the ball rolling.
Q: pservant - can you join the uDig list so we don't have to CC you all
the time.
Speaking of the ball rolling - I am going to try creating a page with
html tiny and creating a page with doc book.
It is a trade off of figuring out XSLT vs having a Word Processor with a
spell checker.
A quick test with OpenOffice produces reasonable HTML and has a spell
checker. Now if only I could teach
it to not check code examples.
