That is a good suggestion David, I am concerned about the documentation hiding away in version control
and not being accessable for coorection/collaboration.

If that could be tricked out to work directly from subversion we would be most of the way there. Note the article also talks about converting the toc (table of contents) files to a useful html page using XSLT (specfically an xml to xhtml transformation).
