thanks for your answer. Let me double check and investigate into this - perhaps it needs some extra conditions to reproduce the error. I am sort of confident that I recently bumped into the situation that a "Project->Clean..." didn't do a make clean, but another make.
But as usual, I was in a hurry, so I worked around it by adding "clean" to the target for make clean, and then the problem went away. I did not investigate into this nor open a bug report.
