RE: [wtp-releng] Smoke Test Request for WTP 2.0.2 M-2.0.2-20080131091038

My team at BEA ran WebLogic Server Tools test cases against this build (2.0.2 RC1). The test cases provide coverage mainly in area of J2EE and server tools, although editors are covered to a certain degree as well. The following two bugs have been encountered. Outside of these two issues, this build appears to be in good shape.

 

NPE publishing 5.0 EAR containing external JAR and lacking application.xml

This one affects quite a few Java EE 5 scenarios where the descriptors are not present. It appears to be a regression from 2.0.1.

Not a new issue. We’ve seen this problem off and on for quite a while.
