Okay we had a productive meeting:

Significantly there is a table of when volunteers are available.
In the couple of hours since the meeting we have closed off a couple of the high priority issues (such as WMS requests being sent out with an empty Filter). I am really happy to see Maruio's email about the update site.
With those two things in mind I would like to issue another "snapshot" release over the course of the weekend; I will also try and catch up on the email from those who were testing in the last month.
