1.2-RC3 should be installed as I understand it; I will pass your message on to udig-devel.

Looking at your log it appears it is already trying to find uDig 1.2-RC3 looking at the ftp site the url should be:

The script is currently looking for a tag.gz.

I am unable to work on any more volunteer activities until after July 4th.
