Re: [udig-devel] interesting

I am on the level with Andrea on this one.  The hosting tool is probably the bigger issue.  Git and HG are both great tools.  But do look at the feature set of GitHub before jumping onto google code.  The biggest think that GC has for me is the excellent worldwide distribution.  It doesn't matter where you are in the world, you will get pretty good access to GC.

I am +1 for both.

Hi Jody, communtiy,
since we are talking about moving the code repo, I would like to draw
attention not so much on the type (git or mercurial are both ok for
me) but more on the features the hosting site gives. For example I am
fallen in love with the code review tool that google code for example
has, with possibility to comment each commit but also single changes
inside the changesets. The ease of use of such tool in  a browser
would make interaction much easier, since one can review even without
an ide or being at his pc.

I am not aware if github has such tools, but I would like us
considering to change for better management of the code in all watys.

Ciao
Andrea
