Re: [udig-devel] Changing pixel transparence for a raster

The behavior you are seeing using the raster symbolizer is correct, as
far as the SLD OGC spec is concerned. You cannot use the raster
symbolizer to make an RGB color transparent but you can map single
band values to transparent via the colormap element.

Notice that what you are looking for, which is usually called
colormasking could be implemented as an extension of the raster
symbolizer.
