Hi Michael.
The box is not a filter mechanism it is a selection mechanism. If the "ALL" check box is not selected it will select the first feature that matches otherwise it will select all the features that match keyword.

Do I need to add an '=' sign before the _expression_? Or do I need quotes or regular _expression_ syntax? thanks again, -Mike Michael Lucas Booz Allen Hamilton 703-377-5714 You are supposed to press enter/return :) I think it would take to long to filter on every keystroke but I could try it out I suppose. BTW. If you check of the check box all the features that match your criteria will be selected otherwise only the first match is selected. If you want to see all the matches you can press the promote to top button.
Keep sending the questions.

Is there a button to apply the filter? Or is there a special syntax for the filter string that we need to use? Here is the feature I am referencing: <Outlook.jpg> thanks for the help! -Mike<Outlook.jpg>_______________________________________________ User-friendly Desktop Internet GIS (uDig) _______________________________________________ User-friendly Desktop Internet GIS (uDig) |
