[udig-devel] Current way to make a grid

Hey all,

I gather there's a lot of changes going on with grids. Is there
currently (uDig 1.1.M4) a way of making simple grids. I don't need
anything fancy just a very local, small grid to start working on
interpolation of a point data set. 

If someone could lay out the steps so I can figure out the actual code
from javadocs/source, i would really appreciate it. Assume I have
nothing but a running operation plugin for a uDig in which there is a
point layer.
