I tried setting up this information on the Community page of the
website. The heading is called FreeData on the right.

You will also find a link there to "Test Servers" (very little of which
is actually tested).

On the geowanking list there are people talking about serving up useful
data for the states, Paul Ramsey has been kind about hosting some of the
nice data we use for testing and tutorials.
I should also mention the Search view - although slow to get going, it
can find you all sorts of useful information.
