Even though there is an advanced option to set MaxFeatures it doesnt seem to use it.  (According to the logs of a local WFS it isnt sent)

Also, having set it you dont seem to be able to find it again or change it.

Its also set on a per server basis, while logically its a per FeatureType control.

This also needs checking against any caching behaviour if you zoom in to an area.
