Hello everyone,

 

due to illness, I am unfortunately unable to attend tomorrow's event. Thus, unfortunately, also as a moderator. So the meeting itself is not prepared as I initially planned. There is no moderation and no guidance.

Note: Not sure about the timeshift (Winter / Summertime), but the meeting is allocated for Wednesday, 3. April 2024 from 13:05 to 15:00

 

However, I am not cancelling the meeting because the time can be used to work on the features. Some of them are not yet on the board or not yet specified.

You can use the time to discuss the dependencies and go deeper with the developers (create subtasks) ⇾ You can also put some questions on the board ⇾ we will answer them later

• Already created features (Planning Board) ⇾ be aware, not all of them are well refined

Hello everyone,

 

I have the feeling that we all need another session together before Open Planning R24.08. I realize that many are on vacation, but “I want to leave no stone unturned” to share information and possibly communicate expectations,

and discuss expectations.

 

If you weren't there in the Townhall on Monday, please watch the recording again. Available in the Catena-X members area under Events.

 

Target group => All contributors who would like to contribute to R24.08. Please forward the appointment if not all participants have made it onto the mailing list.

The appointment has the following objectives and clarifications

• Friendly reminder

... we are all following this process in this way for the first time and I would like to enable every team, every group to go through this process and try ⇾ maybe it won't be perfect, but we can learn and improve ...

• Share information

... not everyone has been in the sessions so far. I have often mentioned feature creation/planning and boards in GitHub and will repeat this in the session

• Expectations

... as an entry criterion for open planning, we need features that meet the relevant criteria. E.g. just a heading is not enough to plan

• Resolving dependencies or connecting experts (please don't go into the meeting unprepared, we don't have that much time)

... for some features, possible dependencies or contact persons are not yet clear. The meeting should provide an opportunity to resolve these or to start the discussion

 

What you can expect

• Info session, expectations documented using slides on the planning process (starting from the feature proposal to the agreed feature ⇾ ready for open planning)
• Based on the features on sig-release, I will create a Miro Board on which the dependencies can be worked on. Currently, these (17) are the features for R24.08

 

What I expect for the appointment

• Active collaboration. It's not a one-man show. We want to rock the 24.08 release together
• Active discussions, if there is not enough time, self-coordinated further work on the open topics
• Open interaction
• Features on sig-release for discussions
• Questions/feedback on the Miro Board
