A Committer election for Andrea Aime on project Eclipse ImageN (technology.imagen) was started by Jody Garnett with this criteria: Andrea is a well respected leader in the geospatial free and open source community who joins the ImageN project from the JAI-Ext project. Andrea has outlined a roadmap for integrating JAI-Ext with the ImageN roadmap and I would like to nominate him for commit access to help stabilize this codebase (he brings a wealth of experience on this topic) and work towards a unified roadmap.
