Hi Harald,
Thanks for the response! I am running Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
(GNU/Linux 5.4.0-58-generic x86_64) and Eclipse SUMO Version
v1_1_0+0000-2147d155b1.
The current SUMO version is 1.9.2
Then are you saying disabling strace output for sumo will
prevent these log files from being generated?
This is just an idea, I cannot tell this for sure
Hi Alex,
the tmp file looks like the output of strace.
strace is used to log all system calls of a running Linux
program.
Which versions of Linux and Sumo are you using?
Greetings, Harald

Hello,
Does anyone have an answer to this? I've attached
an output file below.
Thank you,
Alex
Hello,
When I am running a simulation using SUMO, an
output file gets written to the /tmp folder, with
the info from the traffic simulation. For example,
this file will be named "/tmp/sumoK5jkYu" or
"/tmp/sumoFOXgUo".
Currently, I have to manually delete these
files every few days as they take up too much disk
space. Is there a way to disable this output
file?
Thank you,
Alex
