I cannot reproduce the issue in my own test with default settings. Can you please provide the input files (sumocfg, route file, etc)?

Did you modify any vehicle or vType attributes via TraCI prior to calling changeLane?

I used vehicle.changeLane. I want the vehicle to first change its lane. Then,
when the vehicle is in the right lane, I order it to change its sublane and
