Hi Adrian,
which OS are you using, which version of SUMO?
do you have two versions of sumo installed?
Have you set SUMO_HOME to the newer version of SUMO?

make sure that TraCI client version and SUMO version match.
So the problem looks easy to fix, but right now I don't know how to make
sure that TraCI version and SUMO version match.
