[sumo-user] Problem with TraCI and SUMO versions

I'm beggining in TraCI and sumo. 
When I'm trying to run my python code, SUMO launches but i get the message:
Error: tcpip::Storage::readIsSafe: want to read 8 bytes from Storage, but
only 4 remaining.
Looking in FAQ I found: The TraCI protocal changed in version 1.0.0. Please
make sure that TraCI client version and SUMO version match.
So the problem looks easy to fix, but right now I don't know how to make
sure that TraCI version and SUMO version match.
