Possibly there is no turnaround-connection at the start of the closed edge. If you add this turnaround in advance alternative routes might become available

If there is no alternative route, then being stuck is quite realistic.

I'm facing another problem. I'm using simulation.findRoute to find a route
for my vehicles and if I close the lanes for 1 edge, the findRoute function
will not find another route to bypass the closed lanes and the vehicles will
be stuck before the closed lanes. How do I solve this?
