Re: [science-iwg] Hello

Andrew/all,

Thanks for the update. Glad there's some effort from Eclipse Foundation's side to get this WG going and eventually more visible.

I can't share much before the EC F2F this week, but let's just say, JScience (implementing JSR-275 which is used especially in LocationTech projects like uDig, thus Andrew may know a bit about that) and UOMo/Unit-API offer to join forces in order to resolve a "fork" between a JSR that's on hold (but used a lot, see LocationTech) and an Open Source projects also used quite a bit, e.g. by SmartGrid vendors like Opower who even built extensions on top of it, and of course the UOMo project.

Stay tuned, if this is an effort appreciated by the JCP and EC, you'll hear more of it here, too in the near future.

Kind Regards,

Hi all,

I corrected a spell mistake. Please find attached version 1.02.
Would it make sense to mix both 0.91 and 1.02 into one document?
