[ptp-dev] Question about remote execution environment

Hi
I'm looking for information on the remote execution environment for PTP. 
There was some discussion about RSE, but I can't find a project page on 
the Eclipse website. If there is a URL, can you let me know what it is?

Right now, I'm most concerned about whether the remote execution 
environment requires any persistent data to be stored in root filesystems 
(/, /etc, /var, or /tmp, and if so, whether there is any node specific 
data (hostnames, etc) that resides there.
