Re: [ptp-dev] Can't create a parallel launch config
|
It's strange, because I'm running from PTP HEAD with the Callisto CDT
release and I don't see the problem. Do you have all the new packages
installed?
It looks like the resource manager is throwing an
InvocationTargetException and the error message is null (which causes
the null pointer exception in Status).
Randy, do you have any idea why this might be happening?

Probably not; I'm using CDT 3.1.0 "out of the box" (downloaded zip

I assume you mean a bug in the CVS version.

shot in the dark but this might be related to a recent (now
fixed) CDT bug. For a week or so there was some bug that was
preventing us
from creating launch configurations. Ken Ryall knows the details.

Hi. I just rebuilt PTP from CVS, on my office Linux machine
had to comment out some MPICH2 stuff in core, but except for that
it built
fine.
(Running on Linux with OpenMPI 1.0.2)
(P.S. Greg my Thinkpad Linux PTP build is ok, will continue tutorial
run-thru there.)
But when I try to create a parallel launch configuration I get an
error.
(I think this is recent; what I built last week(?) from CVS is fine)
This occurs before I can even view the launch config -- as soon as
i click
'new' on launch config dialog.
