I’m reinstalling eclipse/CDT/ptp to try to solve some of my problems and I noticed that ptp has openmpi 1.0.2 as a pre-requisite. Openmpi 1.1.1 is marked as the latest stable build. Should I go ahead with 1.1.1 or stick with 1.0.2?

The open mpi website (http://www.open-mpi.org/software/ompi/v1.0/) says “PLEASE NOTE: The 1.0 series of Open MPI is effectively dead.”
