Okay, today I have seen the official liaison request to JTC13 by the Eclipse Foundation 😊

very good article! Indeed, the participation in standardization is not so easy, but a formal liaison with CEN/CLC/JTC 13 by an "open source association" liaison request can be easily done. CEN/CLC/JTC 13 secretary is Martin Uhlherr (DIN). Convenor of WG9 (CRA) is Ben Kokx.

At any time an expert can be named by a national European Standardisation Organisation (ESO) like DIN, ANFOR, BSI, etc. which - in most cases - means to pay a fee to the ESO (for DIN I think it was 1.000 EUR / year) and be present in (web) meetings.
