  • Paul to work with Wayne to put the MPSP in a more proper location.
  • David to create micoprofile-wg repo in microprofile github organization
  • Will move charter MPSP to the micorprofile-wg repo
  • Other working group-related documents will also be hosted in this repo.

Ballot Initiation: Convert MicroProfile to a Specification Project


  • Per the EFSP/MPSP, a 7-day ballot is required to create a specification project.
  • Draft ballot resolution
  • Ballot to be run by Eclipse Foundation
  • Upon MicroProfile becoming a specification project, Individual committers that do not have their individual participation agreement signed will have their commit rights suspended.
    • EMO will work with individual participants that need to sign individual participation agreements
    • Two individual participants have signed a participation agreement. A third is in progress.
    • There are a total of 8 individual committers
  • Voted for the EMO to run the ballot. Ballot begins ASAP.
  • This will allow MicroProfile 4.0 release to proceed if ballot passes
