Hi Etienne,
Yes, we did some changes in the GMF template we are using for Papyrus, but it will not be possible for us to commit these modifications to GMF right now for following reasons:
- they have not been yet migrated to Helios. It should be done in next weeks.
- we need to work them more in order to better identify which improvement are required for us.
- we need to check their scope w.r.t. GMF.
Due to some lack of time, we will not be able to do that before 0.7. We are planning to work on that particular issue after the summer period.
However, if some of the GMF guys want to have a look on what we did, we will be happy to answer questions on what we did or what we would like to have within GMF.

Hi,
I remember that we had some discussion about problems with GMF (too many
class generated, some improvments done on GMF Tool generators and some
enhancement on the top of GMF Runtime). And we said that when Papyrus
generators will be stable, we will discuss with GMF commiters to send
them these patches.
I don't find any proposition or discussion inside GMF project (throw
Bugzilla or mailing list) to contribute these Papyrus enhancements to
GMF. I speak with Mariot (cc of this email) and he don't have heard
about any proposition too.
Have you some information and is it still your plan to contribute them
in the GMF generic framework?
