All committers have sufficient rights to plan/execute releases.
The handbook has "how to" information.
I think my question may have gotten buried.
Could I get some confirmation/denial on how I can get other committers to plan/execute releases (or a pointer to go and RTFM would be helpful :)) ?
Cheers,
Jeen

I am currently looking into the option of giving one of my fellow committers on the rdf4j project sufficient rights to be able to schedule and perform releases (and all that goes with that: managing the ip log, filing CQs, scheduling reviews, etc. etc.)
It looks as if the only way to do this is to actually nominate him as an additional project lead. Is my understanding correct?
Cheers,
