Re: [ice-dev] Eclipse target resolution error on Linux

Jay,

I tried your solution in a fresh workspace, cloning ICE through the developer's menu, but unfortunately I'm getting the same error. I've also previously tried it with several different versions of ICE, including the stable and unstable nightly builds and ones I built on my Linux machine, none of which are working.

Robert,

This is most often caused by a corrupt workspace and not necessarily ICE
itself. Try...

1.) Set your target to the running platform in the Preferences menu,
load it and restart ICE.
2.) Run Project->Clean->All projects and restart ICE.
3.) Try switching back to the ICE target from the Preferences menu and
make sure to click the Reload button.

If that does not work, run ICE on a different workspace, clone the
target from Github (not your local repo), and try again.

If neither of those work, get me.

I switch my targets on Linux all the time and I haven't have this
problem in over a year.

Alex had the same problem on Mac, but adding org.eclipse.equinox.p2.touchpoint.eclipse to the launch configuration fixed the issue for him. I've tried adding the touchpoint plug-ins to the product and launch configurations, but it didn't have any effect.
