In this case, happy committing, a great long weekend and a nice July 4th!

Gunnar, Thanks! Kasper has a signed CLA. Kasper is technically a contractor, but Contractors are treated like direct employees under section 1.1 of the Member Committer Agreement. UT-Battelle, my employer, has a signed member agreement. Jay

What you say sounds like to me as completely covered by "Figure 2" in the IP process poster. https://eclipse.org/legal/EclipseLegalProcessPoster.pdf
Can you confirm that Kasper works for the same employer as you and that your employer signed a Member Committer Agreement?
In that case you can just accept the contribution and commit it. I assume you are using Gerrit/GitHub and Kasper has signed the CLA?
Everyone, I've been following bug 382798 - "Don't require CQs for code contributions from 'other' eclipse project committers" for awhile. It doesn't seem completely resolved yet, even though comment 18 from Mike suggests it is good to go. I have a pull request on EAVP from one of my committers on ICE, Kasper Gammeltoft, who also happens to work for me and is covered by our MLA. The changes are about 6100 lines, most of which is simply formatting of code generated by Xtext. The real meat is about 100 lines of STL (geometry format) parsing code. I would like to just accept this since Kasper is an ICE committer and under our MLA. Your guidance would bee appreciated! Thanks,
Jay
