Hi,

I just wanted to pass on that there
are some new API tools being created in the PDE incubator project:

It's still early for these tools, but
hopefully this work will turn into a standard, cross-project replacement
for the WTP API tools. I'll be following up with the PDE team to find out
what will be supported and how it will compare with what we currently have.

Several have asked me lately about the format and meeting of elements and
attributes of component.xml files. 
So they can update them according to their current/planned APIs. 

I didn't know, so had to go back and ask an expert (John Lanuti :) and
he said the only info he knows about is here:

Hopefully that'll suffice?
