Re: [wtp-dev] Geronimo Server Adapter... on Apache
|
Hi,
If there are no other suggestions, I will remove the Geronimo
plugins from the build as I release my changes.
Sachin I will send a seperate note on those changes to you. I am
putting together a web site to point to different wtp server adapters,
see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=105125 for details. If
you can provide information such as supported server and
versions(actually I have those), plugin-homepage, download url, update
manager url, license info, I will be able to include geronimo plugin also.

Ok. Could you tell me those changes and/or the bugzilla numbers?
Also, I believe that that they shouldn't be continue to be part of the
1.0 builds, as I'd hate for their to be 2 code streams as well as 2
Geronimo Adapters from appearing when launching. Rather Tim Deboer
suggested that there should be a link on WTP to point to all other
external adapters. RIght now I'm having to disable the WTP plugins :)
What do you think?
Sachin.

Hi,
I have some changes I wish to release but they are affecting the
geronimo plugins, I will go ahead and fix geronimo plugins now but
will/should Geronimo plugins continue to be part of the 1.0 builds?

I would like to inform everyone that the Geronimo Server Adapter is
now being developed as part of the Apache Geronimo project. It is
currently in the sandbox of their development stream and it is
expected that this may soon become part of a "development tools"
subproject. All future defects and feature requests should be
directed toward Apache Geronimo jira system at
http://issues.apache.org/jira/secure/BrowseProject.jspa?id=10220
We are aimed to provide first class development tool for Geronimo
built on WTP, so anyone interested in the WTP/Eclipse community we
welcome involvement in Geronimo Server project.
