The short answer is that like all open source, Wakaama does not come
with any promises, warranties, indemnities, liabilities or any other
word that lawyers like to invent to make developers lives more
difficult. After all you are getting it for free.

So sorry, but you are on your own in deciding whether there are any IPR
risks.
