Re: [udig-users] uDig Release-Train 2.0.0 (RC2 or final release)

Little update on release upload test.

I uploaded for the 2.0.0.RC1 (released on 12 Aug 2016) zip-archives for all supported platforms to a so-called pre-release : https://github.com/locationtech/udig-platform/releases/tag/release%2F2.0.0.RC1

I guess we can use it for final 2.0.0 release as well and provide SDK.zip as well :D

Hi folks,

Just an update on this..

We were working on an upgrade to Eclipse Oxygen, which is the latest Release of Eclipse Platform

Nikolaos tested on Linux - many thanks to you - and myself had a look at MacOSX, whole it has been tested  on Windows during development

We don’t see any blocker to proceed to release, except anyone else raises hands

Questions:

* Who has experience upgrading from eclipse E3 to E4 platform and can help solving issue #275 (Perspective switcher is missing)
* Does anyone of you has experience uploading artifacts such as products to a Release Tag at github?
* who can test installers (exe/dmg) finally?

Frank
