[udig-users] uDig Release-Train 2.0.0 (RC2 or final release)

Hello Everybody,

The Plan is to provide a new Release for OSGeo Live (currently 2.0.0.RC1 is used for OSGeo Live release 12). 

This is a great chance to get latest developments (see below) shipped for FOSS4G 2018 Dar Es Salaam, Tansania http://2018.foss4g.org/

Timetable:

till 29-April Testing and fixing found issues

till 7-May   Creating Release (Candidate(s))

Known Milestones for OSGeo Live Release Train:
2-Jul-2018 OSGeo-Live Feature Freeze (final application versions installed)
30-Jul-2018 OSGeoLive RC stage (documentation release)
6-Aug-2018 OSGeoLive Final ISO

How can you help?

• general testing uDig on several platforms (Linux, Windows, and MacOSX)
• testing bugfixes, new features, and improvements we have so far
• helping review and commenting open pull requests/issues to get it into the release
• helping to build installers on MacOSX (dmg)
