Re: [udig-dev] Translations
|
Thanks Frank, I'd prefer to use transifex as well.
So the next question is who is able to accept team join requests? I
logged into the transifex site and requested to join the Portuguese
translations - somebody has to approve this. I am just testing out the
process, so I don't need this accepted, but if I pass the site along to
the actual translator I need them to be accepted.

I would prefer to use transifex while the other option is still valid
and fine!
Thanks for bringing it on the list to find other parties who might be
interested in having a Portugiese UI

Does anyone know if the transifex uDig site is still current?
https://www.transifex.com/udig/udig/
We have some interest in translating parts of uDig into Portuguese
(Brazil). I see some of it is done (1.7%) but we need a more. If I
point the translator to this site will they have recent versions of the
files and will they be integrated back into GitHub in a reasonable
amount of time?
Alternatively I can just grab the files out of the repo and submit them
back with a patch.
Thanks,
Emily
