I also have problems with Mavricks - the file open dialog used when adding a shapefile ... can only be opened once!

Apparently the version of Eclipse we are using (Eclipse Indigo) has an issue using dialogs for Marvricks and we need to update to a newer version.

The advice on that page says we should:

Use 3.8 as the basis for your RCP app, or at least take org.eclipse.swt* bundles from 3.8 or 4.3.

I would need to talk to Frank and updating the version we use.
