Re: [udig-devel] location tech initial contribution update

Updated the spreadsheet  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtOHw31i-Ij_dDVfOHVWQV9lXzVjaFNwR2xpcWF6cHc#gid=0:

* added new status "needs review" and added "blue" formating for this value --> see comments in the last column

Progress:
* changed several LGPL references to EPL + BSD
* added/ updated copyright informations for Extension point definitions (exsd)
* updated copyrightText for Project.genmodel
* updated License.txt files
* removed several historical txt-files
* removed hfb-v10.txt (no references in sources, maybe in 3rd-party libs like geotools --> can we go ahead and remove SOSNOKILLINGLICENSE.txt as well?)

Question:
* How do we handle *-screen files (created with WireframeSketchers). These are ecore-model files but are not required at runtime. We used it to document RFC's initial UI ideas. Remove these?
* Andrea, when can we start to update eu.udig.tools java source headers (LGPL)? I could help if required!

How can we synchronize our tasks (see status "in progress" of the spreadsheet). Who will communicate with Eclipse IP team (tasks with "needs review" status) and when will we provide the next initial contribution?

I'd like to suggest a weekly IRC session kind of stand-up of the IP progress. Any suggestions for the timetable?

Cheers

- Frank

It is not a requirement, I will just explain it is a freely available tool (license required to unlock more functionality ).

To bad, i like wireframe sketchers and I don't know why its required to remove these. Well, a license is required but so what?!

Done. Link has been sent. Some rows are already done, mostly lgpl stuff from last 8 or 10 commits on locationtech_ip branch. Going to add pmc's tomorrow and Update the current Status as well.
