I first tried to set Graticule CRS by L-click on Graticule > Properties and select a CRS other then the default, for example EPSG:3395. Then I closed uDig and opened it again. Unfortunately, the CRS was reset to default every time. The same applies to any other decoration. I was not able locate the reason for this so I decided to allow CRS to be choosen in the Style editor dialog. When the problem is located, both methods will be supported.

For some reason, CRS set on MapGraphic is not saved between sessions. I have solved this by checking mapgraphc layer CRS against saved CRS in style. If different, CRS in style is applied. There is one small inconsitency, which I have not resolved. If CRS is changed the ordinary way through "properties -> projection", this will be overridden by crs saved in style. I will make it possible to change CRS from both when I have found a easy way to detect when CRS changes in layer.
Kenneth do you have any more detail here? What exactly is going wrong … (i.e. "not saved between sessions")
