[udig-devel] Google Summer of Code does uDig want to particpate?

Morning all:

Google summer of code is once again happening this year - I would like to know if anyone is interested in participating as a mentor?

We have had a couple of interested students; but that is only 1/2 of the challenge.

I am once again willing to act as a backup mentor; and run through the training materials "online" via Skype for students (and mentors?) who are starting up.

Aside: Over on the OSGeo board email list they just concluded that mentors could keep the $500 for their involvement (indeed they have just been fortunate that mentors have chosen to donate this in the past).
