Re: [udig-devel] Dragging world image onto layersview
|
Hello,
for the archives: it was a geotiff with a world file attached. Yes,
there was one catalog entry, only. I was dragging the image directly
onto the layer view.
The fix was to delete the world file (tfw).
Thanks,
Ugo

The normal cause for this is because the image is actually a Geotiff but has
associated world files with it. So the Geotiff and the World image plugins
both accept it. Really it should be 1 layer and the best choice of
IGeoResource should be selected. The quick fix is probably to delete or
rename the world image files.

That sounds strange; are you dragging a file directly onto the layer
view (in which case I would guess that more than one catalog entry is
getting created for the file? Perhaps GeoTiff and world plus image are
both recognizing the file?)
Are you getting two catalog entries as well?

Hello,
when dragging an image onto the layerview I get a double entry in the
layer list. This doesn't happen with geotiffs.
Can anyone reproduce this (using the trunk)? If someone drop me a hint, I
can try to track this down.
Cheers,
Ugo
