[udig-devel] Changing the workflow for our issue tracker

Aside: I just tried updating an issue to "analysis needed" state - and could not do it. Perhaps I need to adjust the workflow uDig uses before this option is available (I really do not want to mess this up).

I have confirmed that a change is possible - but is very scary. The instructions ask for us to back up Jira before hand. And I would need to talk to codehaus prior to trying this out (as there is a chance we could lose a lot of work).

Right now I have some kind of special administrator account for Jira (since I was around at the start of codehaus). They may take it away from me if they notice me hacking at their application in a manner that can wreck everything for all the projects.

As an example I could remove the "Reopened" state for everyone and all the projects in code haus would cry.
