[udig-devel] Editing feature destroys shapefile contents

I've got a shapefile that contains ~5300 multilinestrings. When, using 
udig-1.1-SC3 SDK, I edit one of those on the map, the whole SHP, except 
one feature, gets erased. The remaining object has FID 1.

My test case:
- On the map, select feature for editing, edit feature
- Commit edit => Element disappears, other map content still shown (as 
only relevant bounds are refreshed)
- Refresh map e.g. by panning => Content disappears
- Open table view => Shows only one element.

Anyone got similar results? I wonder if it's the SHP, as it's not 
generated by uDig. But how do I check the SHP?
