[udig-devel] strange editing report

Hi, I hope I don't duplicate anything, but last week I didn't follow
threads so well.

A user reports me the following editing behaviour. I tested it and the
guy is right:

If you edit a shapefile and after editing click with the edit tool
active in an empty part of the layer, the selection is cleared but the
layer is not left dirty. It seems as if an automatic commit would be
active. But if I restart udig, the changes are not there.

Anyone seen this?
