I've applied the patch and have been (for 3 weeks) been trying to
find time to do a release of 1.1-RC11. I will schedule 2 hours today
to try to finish it.

I have reported[1] this issue and suggested a very simple way to
fix the problem.
Is there anything more I can do to make this issue resolved?
