Re: [udig-devel] udig at foss4g and IRC

The reason being that we the first workshop is an intro to the different FOSS4G components using uDig as the viewer. The second course gets a bit more serious and covers editing. Both are intro "survey" workshops - for the details I hope you will join us in a coding sprint :-)

Aside there are some other venues for you jGrass-uDig mixture
- demo theater - I would *really* like to see you there; even if you cannot attend personally I would like to show what you have been up to :-) - presentation - You can run an application in a presentation (it is not hands on but it can still be real world)
- code sprint - mentioned above

Cheers (and thanks for the workshop proposal it means a lot that you stepped forward even if there was not enough time/facilities/scope for everything).

Jody and Jesse did, though for reasons passing my understanding they did not include the word "uDig" in the title, but instead opted for "Friendly". Their submissions were eventually accepted as 1.5 hour labs.

Hi folks,
I see that none of the FOSS4G workshops deal with udig. My proposal
wasn't accepted, so also the jGrass-UDig mixture won't be handled.
Just for my curiosity, did anyone send a UDig proposal?

I'm sorry I won't be able to attend to today's IRC meeting. Will read
about it in the logs.

Ciao
Andrea
