Re: [udig-devel] Add images

Welcome, to see an image you will need to provide a "world" file, a small text file that says where the corners of the image is. If your image is not in lat/long (or long/lat I cannot remember). Actually to use different coordinates you can also provide a "prj" file.

The extention of the "world" file is based on the kind of image being used.
I will ask richard to update the users FAQ with the exact details ... unless anyone else on the list can remember them?

Jody

Hello,
I am learning how to use uDig, but I have a problem. When I want to add an image (jpg or tif) to a map, an error message appears "No resources found".

I have obtained to add shp files, but no with jpg or tif. I don't know why. How can I add a image on uDig??
