There is also gvSig (not based on geotools though), you are more then 
welcome to join us over on the udig email list. We can set you up with a 
community svn space and so on.  UDIG 1.0.1 has just been released, and 
work has started on UDIG 1.1.0 (with a focus on editing and raster support).
